About SAE British Columbia Section
The BC Section of SAE International is now entering its 58th year, since being officially designated as the SAE British Columbia Group on June 12, 1946. The Section has close to 400 members together with a substantial Student Section at UBC, and covers the whole of British Columbia from the Rockies to the Pacific Coast of Vancouver Island.
The majority of our Members live and work in the Lower Mainland, and represent a wide spectrum of technical interests. We have a regular program of dinner meetings and tours, mostly centered in the Vancouver area, although we have had meetings elsewhere in BC on occasion. We have also held one-day seminars with a more detailed technical review of current issues in the field of mobility engineering.
